Sundeck, designed by Herbert Bayer, stands on top of Ajax Mountain, at an
elevation of 11,300 feet, Terminal of the Chairlift, and starting
point of many ski reuns, it affords a magnificent view of a whole range of
13,000 and 14,000 feet peaks. Most prominantly seen on the photograph
is Mount Hayden, 13,500 feet. |

One
of the most open of the Aspen Ski Trails, Tourtelotte Park, is easy even for
the less expert skiers. Hagemann Peak is seen in the background, and
part of the famous Chairlift can be seen moving across the valley in the
center of the picture. |
