mining camp in earlier days, Alta is now a world famous winter resort
located twenty eight miles south-east of Salt Lake City high in the Wasatch
Mountains. Ski lifts, Shelters, lodges and an observation lounge offer
every accommodation for the visitor as well as the skier. |

Where snow fun begins. The
Chair lift at Alta, in the Wasatch Mountains in Utah, takes snow fans up the
slopes where they can travel the famous runs at that resort. Once a
