The Purgatory Ski Area is the Newest addition to the total comples of ski resorts in Colorado Ski Country USA.  The ski season lasts for Thanksgiving through the 15th of April.  The lift also operates as a scenic ride in the summer from June 15th through September 1st.

   Ski Carnival Steamboat Springs, Colorado.  The ultimate of spectacular color on Ski Town's Howelson Hill as the three day Winter Carnival continues into the night.  An annual event usually held in early February.

S. 40, on the Western slope of Berthoud Pass.  This wonderful skiing area is located at the west portal of the well known Moffat Tunnel.  During season, the D. & R. G. W. R. R. funs special ski trains from Denver to Winter Park every Saturday and Sunday.
