Sugarbush Valley Ski Area, Warren Vermont.  The Gondola Lift at Sugarbush Valley, America's longest aerial lift, carries 600 passengers per hour 9300 ft to the summit of Lincoln Peak.

New Poma Ski Lift On Bunny's Suicide Six - Woodstock, Vermont - Standstill Starts - 1000 skiers per hr.   White Cupboard Inn, Woodstock, VT.  Though this does not show a ski lift or skiers I felt it was important to include as the White Cupboard Inn was where the first tow rope in the U.S. was installed in 1934. It was originally called a "Ski-Way" but was renamed "Ski-Tow" in 1935. The tow was driven by the rear wheel of a Ford Model A.   Ski Hill, Woodstock, Vermont This card is postmarked 1942. 

     
Since these two postcards are commemorative cards there is also a mention of the plaque that marks the spot of the site of the First Ski Tow in the U.S.A.  Here is that text:

  In January, 1934, on this pasture hill of Clinton Gilbert's farm, and endless-rope tow, powered by a Model "T" Ford Engine, hauled skiers uphill for the first time.  This ingenious contraption launched a new era in winter sports.
