Timber Ridge

Windham, Vermont

1970-1971

     

Timber Ridge was a small  family mountain with family sized prices.  It was very near to Magic Mountain.

For the 1970-1971 Season Timber Ridge had seven trails with a T-bar.  It also had a cross country trail.

     

The Base Lodge was new and  very modern.  Slope side Chalets were available and more were being built...unfortunately, despite all these conveniences and modern facilities (for the times), Timber Ridge did not survive and several years later was incorporated into the nearby Magic Mountain as Timberside at Magic Mountain.  Magic also ran in to some problems a few years later and closed.  Magic is now reopened, but Timberside (Timber Ridge) is no longer part of it.
